The better ones are difficult to title

There are times when photographing the city where you get all these passers-by wondering what you’re possibly doing. They walk by and look back, trying to see what you’re seeing. It makes me feel somewhat like a crazy person, standing there in the flow of things to catch a moment. This, in particular, was very evident to me the other day when watching a man and his wife ob around on a street with cameras, backpacks and gear in tow. Aimlessly, they floated from street sign to bird to plant as if racing to capture what was obviously available to the next anyone from anywhere who happened to be here. It was like watching CNN – or looking into a cracked mirror. I found myself wondering what in the world was motivating them, caught myself, and continued on.
