The mini maple shrivels

This little maple tree grew up in a neglected pot outside the house a couple of summers back. I found it interesting how its leaves fell open like asking hands and then curled back in the fall like the fingertips were closing up into the palms. I stared at it a few times over the course of a weekend before taking this shot with my 50 prime lens. It’s about to get cold here again, so I’m looking forward to doing some inside shots with that lens. I shot so many landscapes this year that it might be good to try some everyday kinds of things. Just a change of pace.
