Lined with light

I had 40 minutes to kill on a cold night last winter, so I decided to find something worthy of a photograph. This gate nearly threw itself at me as I ambled around a corner. I actually saw the streams of light falling across the concrete first, then sized everything up. People walked around the corner and through the frame on the longest exposure, as so often happens to me. Thankfully they didn’t streak the image. Thought it doesn’t look it, the image is straight. That wall on the right tapers slightly outward as it rises toward the second floor.
