Fishermen at low tide

I remember thinking these guys looked like they were regulars out here, but they were fishing at the hottest part of the day with high sun. If I go back to my childhood fishing knowledge that would make this the worst time of the day to be out fishing. Fish would want to be in deeper water away from the heat and light.

But there they were, this man in the foreground and maybe a dozen other fisherman closer to the bridge and on it, looking for the next big catch. Maybe they felt the low tide meant bigger fish would get trapped and be easier to catch. Maybe this was a bit of fun at lunch break. And come to think of it, photography isn’t quite the best mid-day either.
