The cold train

I’ve decided to go backward for a while. I took a bunch of photos in the last few days, but I’m more interested in things I’ve uncovered while going through some old work. A couple of years ago Chicago experienced a two-foot blizzard that paralyzed much of the city for several days. It was not only a ton of snow, temperatures barely reached above zero for weeks. I needed to take this train into the city the day after the deluge of white. It crept so slowly due to the conditions that it took 10 minutes to go from one stop to next one just two minutes away. I turned around right then and there and began walking home.
